With a deep commitment to social justice, Alan Delamora has built a distinguished career representing individuals and families navigating the complex legal landscape of the U.S. immigration system. He has extensive experience in asylum and humanitarian relief, family-based petitions, removal defense, and applications for permanent residency and citizenship/naturalization. He has a proven track record of success in securing favorable outcomes for his clients. Coming from a family of immigrants, Alan brings a unique blend of legal expertise, compassion, and cultural sensitivity to his practice.


Alan has over two decades of experience in legal services. His work in immigration began in 2010 when he assisted asylum seekers at the Organization for Refuge, Asylum & Migration (ORAM) and the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (CGRS). He earned his Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of California College of the Law in San Francisco (UC Law SF), with a concentration in International and Comparative Law, focusing on the global legal system for asylum seekers and refugees. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University.


Alan is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, allowing him to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds and build strong relationships based on trust and understanding. He is an expert in LGBTQ+/SOGI asylum and has won hundreds of cases for people fleeing persecution based on gender identity and sexual orientation.
